Powder coating aluminum
RAL and custom powder coating for aluminum — a thick, durable, uniform finish that resists chips, chemicals and weather better than liquid paint.
When to powder coat
Powder coating aluminum is the go-to for enclosures and outdoor frames where durability and color consistency matter. We apply electrostatically and cure in oven, with pretreatment for adhesion. Choose it over anodizing when you need a wide color range or a thicker film.
Typical specs
- Colors: full RAL + custom
- Film: ~60–100 µm
- Adhesion: cross-cut tested
- Pretreat: chrome-free

Coating vs anodizing
- Powder coat: more colors, thicker, great outdoors.
- Anodize: thinner, metallic look, better for heatsinks (conductive).
